In response to the party's strategic nomination management committee's decision to exclude the mayor of Seoul from the nomination of Seoul mayor on the 20th, Yoon Ho-jung, chairman of the Democratic Party's emergency response committee, said, "The ethics inspectorate investigates the circumstances in which the decision of the strategic mission committee was leaked and asks for disciplinary action. I have ordered it ex officio,” he said.

Vice Chairman Yoon said, "I am very sorry that the results of yesterday's screening were leaked to the media."

Yesterday, the Democratic Party's Strategic Mission Committee held an internal meeting and decided to exclude former Representative Song and Rep. Park Jumin from the nominations for mayor of Seoul.

After hearing about this news from former CEO Song, the decision to exclude was made known to the outside world.

In a radio interview today, former CEO Song explained, "A member of the strategic mission objected to the decision and submitted a resignation letter.

There are also voices protesting from within the non-commissioning committee, including co-chairman Park Ji-hyeon.

As opposition voices continued at the non-commissioned meeting, Chairman Yoon volunteered to speak right before the end of the public meeting, announcing the fact that he had ordered an investigation by the Ethics Inspection Team, saying, "I will explain in case the reporters will be misunderstood."

Chairman Yoon explained, "It is possible to have such a discussion at the Strategic Mission Committee," he said.
